Just before Christmas I was tempted to buy the Nitro Blueprint System Home Study Kit from NitroMarketing and yesterday it arrived so I was having a good look at it last night and I am impressed. (Also see Assessment of the Nitro Blueprint System Update 1)
I had received a series of emails and gradually my resistance was worn down through a combination of
- great copy,
- a 365 day unconditional money back guarantee and
- my own desire to really push ahead in 2008 with making money from this blog without weakening my commitment to quality articles and referrals to the very best business development resources I can find.
Since my blog started in September 2007 I have loved writing about and recommending products and it has been very rewarding to see my traffic continue to build. But it has taken time when my own business coaching/consultancy clients have also been demanding many more hours than originally expected.
If I am to continue developing the Business Coaching Blog into the best source of advice for small business development (and that is my intention), then I need to make sure that my time and effort is suitably rewarded.
To succeed I have now enrolled on three significant training programs:
- The Nitro Blueprint System (affiliate link)
- Rich Schefren's Business Acceleration Program (affiliate link)
- Yaro Starak's Blog Mastermind (affiliate link)
You can expect progress reports and my thoughts about each of these programs as I learn more.
It is going to be a busy few months and you can see why I have been writing about business advice junkies.
While I am stacked to the brim with business development training products, I am determined to put the advice into practice and I expect that the Business Coaching Blog will be significantly bigger and better by the end of June 2008.
What Is The Nitro Blueprint System?
Without repeating the sales letter the Nitro Blueprint Program is organised around three themes:
Developing The Success Mindset and Orientation
Starting and Launching A Successful Business Online
Growing A Successful Business Online
That sounded good to me and I decided to give it a try.
So what did I get in my box yesterday?
- Nitro Blueprint System Quick Start Guide - it explains what has been sent and lays out briefly the implementation program and also includes a module tracking sheet.
- Nitro Blueprint System Master Manual - 328 pages that on first impressions looks very clear and well organised.
- Nitro Blueprint System 2 Foot x 3 Foot Wall-Poster which is a neat summary of the whole system that I will look at each day and gradually understand more and more, how the system fits together.
- 12 audio CDs starting with market research, moving through developing the business strategy, creating the product and the website, building traffic and building backend products.
- 4 bonus CDs
- A bonus DVD of the Nitro Blueprint System Live Video Orientation as the first introduction to the system.
- Access to a member's website stuffed with extra video and audio resources, a resource and outsource directory and a member's discussion forum.
Can you see why I am so impressed and I am eager to get started by watching the introductory video? But as it is still holiday time I don't want to get into too much trouble for working when I should be relaxing so my start will have to wait until the first week of January.
The price of the program looks very reasonable for what I have received so far but the true test is what I achieve when I put the program to work. At the moment I expect it to pay for its costs many times over this year
If you have an existing Internet marketing business or you plan to develop one and would like to take a good look at the Nitro Blueprint System before I complete the course and write my review, you can find details on the Nitro Blueprint System website (affiliate link).
If you have also bought the Nitro Blueprint System home study kit then I would love to hear your thoughts on it and hear about your success stories so please do leave a comment.
I had thought about forming a Facebook group but then I remembered that we can share thoughts on the Nitro Blueprint forum that already exists.
Update - 8 October 2008
The new Nitro Blueprint System 2009 is in the pre-launch phase.

Hi Valerie
At the moment I have only watched the long (90 minutes I think) video of Kevin Wilke presenting the Nitro Blueprint at a seminar.
This has been included in the package as a general overview but I have to say that I am still very impressed so far.
I completely understand the concern about being scammed as it is a big problem on the Internet. In fact that is one of the things that is driving me forward with my Blog.
Often it is difficult to tell the good from the bad from the sales letter with their impressive claims so it is an area that I think I can add real value to.
I like the idea that the Nitro Blueprint concept of a basic business model based on filling in the boxes because it makes it:
a) very clear on what has to be done
b) what you've got left to do
c) helps focus on measuring the different stages, and as you will know, measurement is at the heart of continuous improvement.
At the moment I am certainly glad that I bought the Nitro system but I still have a long way to go before:
a) working through all the material
b) putting the ideas to work in my own business.
One of the things that gives me faith in Nitro Marketing is the company they keep as they distribute products for famous marketers/copywriters like Joe Vitale, Ted Nicholas and they have the electronic rights to three of Jay Conrad Levinson's Guerrilla Marketing books. Such high profile people have worked too hard and invested too much in building up their good reputations to associate with a bad business.
It was Joe Vitale that introduced me to Nitro Marketing and I have been watching the emails keep coming in for sometime before taking the plunge.
Should you buy it now or wait for my more detailed review?
It depends on your own business needs.
Does it cost more to wait for my full assessment and not push your results forward or is the risk of buying it to much.
But what is the risk of buying - the Nitro Blueprint comes with a full 365 day satisfaction guarantee (based on the last time I read the sales letter) and any delay in buying may mean that you see the price go up while your competitors may already be implementing these very ideas.
If you decide to go ahead please use this link http://www.nitromarketing.com/g.o/paulsimister as affiliate income helps to pay for my time in maintaining the Business Coaching Blog.
On a personal note Valerie, you say that you have been scammed many times but does part of the problem lie inside you.
I have written two lead articles recently on the blog about being a "business advice junkie". This is a person who buys business advice but never goes the next step and implements it properly, often because of a lack of clarity on their vision or focus on what their strengths and what they have to do to succeed.
See "Are You A Business Advice Junkie" http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/the_business_coaching_blo/2007/12/are-you-a-busin.html
and "Cold Turkey for a Business Advice Junkie" http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/the_business_coaching_blo/2007/12/cold-turkey-for.html
If this is a problem and you don't discover your vision and focus and really commit to putting it to work, then you won't recoup your money.
Assuming that is not the case then I would recommend that you give the Nitro Blueprint System a try. I can see many more reasons for doing it than not doing it.
But don't do what I am doing at the moment.
Because you are inexperienced, don't try and use several people's systems at the same time. You will become confused over the different priorities and different emphasis given to different parts of the overall business solution.
I said the same thing to someone who called me recently about 1-2-1 coaching. She had called around a lot of my competitors and liked me and one other person the best and as we were strong in different areas, she wondered about using us both. Even at the risk of losing thousands of pounds, I advised her against that idea because it lacked focus and would confuse more than it helped.
I hope that helps and while I have emailed this response to you as requested, I will also post it on my blog.
If you have found this answer and my blog in general useful can you a) tell other people about it and b) vote for it in the Blogger's Choice competition at http://www.bloggerschoiceawards.com/blogs/show/36148/ - it all helps to raise my profile.
